A Little About Us
Created in 1998, the Crackerjack DJ’s are a collective of archivists, musicians, cratediggers, artists, journalists, hoteliers, free thinkers and knee slappers who administer aural pleasure with a wide range of music: soul, funk, hip-hop, rare groove, and reggae to Afrobeat, Latin, downtempo and block-rockin’ beats. It is in our nature to share.

DJ JDub
Justin Wasielewski
Justin developed his passion for music while living in London in the 90s, absorbing the city’s diverse styles and genres— from the dub reggae and jungle of the Knotting Hill Carnival to the jazz, northern soul, house and techno of the West End clubs. This is also where he started collecting vinyl and developing his signature genre defying sound.
He relocated to San Francisco in 1996 where he started throwing underground parties. He founded CrackerJack DJs with with a group of friends and the crew perfected their mash up style infusing downtempo, soul, reggae, and house on multiple turntables + sound systems.
This led to residencies in the early 2000s at multiple staples of the SF nightlife scene including John Colins and Hawthorne. He has played internationally in the UK, Sweden, Canada, & Mexico and continues to play in San Francisco with the CrackerJack DJs.
DJ Fishbits
Michael Hraba
DJ Fishbits was a crate digger and gent of impeccable musical taste, such that he was asked to DJ with Crackerjack as a guest by the end of 2005. Since then, he has worked aural magic on crowds of all types, playing what he wants, when he wants. He has played internationally, both in Canada and Mexico, as well as filled some of the best clubs in San Francisco. He played with Crackerjack for 14 years at their John Colins residency, and continues to do so at their twice-monthly (1st & 3rd Fridays, happy hour) residency at Hawthorn in San Francisco.

Love to share great music with the people, and have been doing so at venues throughout the Bay Area since 1998. Currently dropping beats and knowledge at a twice-monthly (1st & 3rd Fridays, happy hour) residency at Hawthorn in San Francisco.
